The player makes choices that shape the village's progress, including choosing preferred skill sets for each villager, researching technologies, and dragging villagers to points of interest on the map. There, they must uncover the secrets and puzzles of Isola and create a thriving village. The survivors flee and discover another island called Isola, where they make their new home.
